Yes! Just so you know, 50% of the total amount is due before design begins. Usually the remaining 50% is due at the conclusion of the project, but I'm happy to work together to find a pricing plan that fits your needs.

Do you offer payment plans?

You may incur additional fees if you’re interested in things like stock photography, complex icons or patterns, or intricate fonts to enhance your brand. If that’s something you’re worried about, rest assured. These things aren’t always necessary and I will work hard to find free options! If you’re interested in working with brand photographers, copywriting professionals, or SEO experts, you may want to think about those costs before getting started, too! When building a website, you should definitely plan for domain fees, typically paid annually, and website hosting fees, which you can typically pay annually or monthly. When selecting brand add-ons, please note that you will most likely need a paid Canva subscription to edit your documents once I’ve passed them along!

What other costs should I plan for?

If you don’t already have an account, I’ll help you set one up when we begin design! Showit offers a few different subscription types, and your choice mostly depends on whether or not you want a blog. You’ll always get your first 14 days free. After that, you can use my code for an additional 30 days free!

Which Showit plan should I subscribe to?

I recommend buying your domain through Squarespace, Hover, or GoDaddy.

Where can I get a domain?

For graphic design projects, I’m trained and experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite. I know it can be a little taboo, but I also love designing in Canva, especially because I can pass the document along to be easily updated by you directly for years to come. Who wants to email their designer every 6 months to update a few words? I wouldn’t want to and you shouldn’t have to! For web projects, I’m most comfortable designing on Showit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new website. I like to describe it as Canva for your website. It’s completely drag and drop and allows me to totally customize the mobile and desktop versions separately, which I love. If you’re set on hosting your website through another platform like Squarespace, Wix, or Wordpress, I’m still happy to have a conversation about how I can help!

What platforms do you design on?

Additional fees may apply for font licenses or printed materials. I do not include copywriting, brand photography, domain names, website hosting/subscriptions, legal disclaimers, or privacy policies in any of my packages. I’m happy to walk you through each of these items and help you find the right professional to fit your needs!

What’s not included in your packages?

I am not an advanced SEO expert. My web design package includes basic SEO, but if you're interested in advanced services, I'm happy to recommend another professional who can better assist!

What about SEO?

Your brand and website should reflect you and your business. In most cases, when I work with small business professionals, YOU are your brand, and I don't want that to get lost throughout our process. I will help set you up with a copywriting doc and some free resources to get the ball rolling. However, if copywriting is not a task you're up for, I can help you find a copywriting professional who can write your website copy for you!

Why is copywriting not included?

Before I begin any website design project, there are a few things I need from you. I’ll walk you through all of these things during our onboarding call, but generally I’ll ask for login information for your domain service and website host, general inspiration and ideas and hopes and dreams, your brand assets (think logos, colors, and fonts — unless I created them!), your brand photos, and your website copy (which we’ll work on together).
